Value of Tournaments

At Epic Fencing, we believe in the value of competition for the lessons it teaches:

  • The correlation between hard work and tangible improvements

  • The importance of taking care of your body and mind

  • The value of discipline and self-regulation

Tournament Progression

  • Start with in-house tournaments such as Donut Tournaments

  • Progress to provincial tournaments

  • Move to out-of-province tournaments such as Sask or BC provincials, Canada Cups, and USA tournaments (Regional Youth Circuits or Regional Open Circuits)

  • Join USA tournaments; Regional Youth Circuit, Regional Open Circuit, Super Youth Circuit, or North American Cup

  • ​Compete internationally at European Cadet Circuits and Junior, Satellite, or Senior World Cups.
