Schedule and Activities

  • Hours: 9am-4pm (Lunch 12-1pm)
    • Morning-Only participants: 9am-12pm
  • Activities:
    • Strength & Conditioning: with MKin, Kelleigh Ryan, and BScKin, Isabella Sabatini
    • Footwork: Technical and Fitness sessions
    • Drills: practice specific fencing skills and strategic exercises with a partner
    • Bouting: A high volume of both structured and high intensity matches
    • Video-analysis: Watch and analyze matches to gain tactical insight and perspective
    • Private lessons: Before camp, after camp, or during lunch, work one-on-one with one of our guest coaches or one of our esteemed Epic coaches (available for an additional fee)
  • Participants: This camp is for competitive and developing fencers, age 8 and older
    • Grouping: Fencers will be grouped by weapon, age, and skill as the coaches see best fit for the fencer’s development. Open bouting periods will allow fencers of different ages and levels to practice together
  • What to bring:
    • Full working fencing equipment
      • Epic members with less than 1yr experience can borrow club equipment but are encouraged to purchase their own
      • Repairs will be available at a fee outside camp hours
      • Electric vests with non-working spots will be accepted but users must understand the opponent will get benefit of the doubt on touches
    • Water bottle with participant’s name on it
    • Peanut-free Snacks
      • Snacks are available for purchase on site
    • Lunch
      • There is a Subway a 20-minute walk from the club if needed

  • Cancelation Policy
    • Requests for refunds for Camps will be refunded in full less $20 administrative fee up until 2 weeks prior to the start of the event
    • Requests for refunds than 2 weeks prior to the start of the event will only be refunded at 50% of the event fees and $20 administration fee.
    • Requests for refunds after the event has started will not be accepted.
